In Celebration of Gloucester’s upcoming Quadricentennial, Gloucesterpedia challenges individuals to submit proposals to change Gloucester street names.
For example I would propose that we change Pine Street, which has limited historical significance, to Edward Hopper Way. Noted artist Hopper painted the corner of Pine street and Church.
Love to hear your proposals .
Should Stacey Boulevard be Fitz Henry Lane Boulevard?
Should Centennial be Stuffy McGinnis Avenue?
Bond Street to Nathanial Warner Lane?
Winning proposals could be submitted to the City Council as suggestions.
